Tintinhull's amenities include a Recreation Ground with children's play area, two hard-surface Tennis Courts, an outdoor Swimming Pool and a Sports Field and Pavilion.
Tintinhull Recreation Ground is a public open space, the land having been gifted to the village in 1932 and registered as a charity in the 1980s. The current Parish Council acts as the charity trustees. It has a children's play area including swings and slides, together with two Tennis Courts and a Swimming Pool. Often used for whole-village events such as carnivals and fete days, the recreation ground hosts the village 'Party in the Park' event.
Tintinhull swimming pool was dug and built entirely by voluntary labour in the 1930s. Originally run as a local club, the Pool has more recently come under the control of the Parish Council but, to this day, it is still run entirely by volunteers who give up their time to open and manage the pool.
Tintinhull has two modern, high quality, all-weather tennis courts that are located on the Recreation Ground in central Tintinhull. Tintinhull Tennis Courts are owned by the village, held in Trust with Parish Councillors as trustees and by agreement are operated by the Tintinhull Tennis Club. Courts can be booked by anyone via the link below where conditions and costs of play are available.
Sports Field & Pavilion
Tintinhull Sports Field and Pavilion is a public open space located on Montacute Road. The sports field incorporates two football pitches with the Pavilion offering changing facilities. The Pavilion can also be used for private events. There is a car park located on the far side of the sports field that can be used for pre-arranged private events or matches.
