As well as having individual responsibilities, Parish Councillors also act jointly and individually as Trustees for the Village Hall and the Recreation Ground. The Charity Trusts for both these places have strict aims and objectives with which the Trustees must comply. The business and finances of both trusts are separate from those of the Parish Council.

Village Hall Charity Trust

Tintinhull Parish Council owns the freehold title to the Village Hall as sole trustee with the objective of maintaining the Property for the purposes of a Community Hall for use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Tintinhull. All day to day organisation and administration of the Village Hall is delegated to the Village Hall Committee

Recreation Ground Charity Trust

The Recreation Ground in the centre of Tintinhull is owned by the Village of Tintinhull and held in a Charitable Trust. Typical discussions at meetings include the care and maintenance of the swimming pool, tennis courts and landscaping as well as any problems arising from the operation of the facilities.

Parish Council and Trust Meetings

Tintinhull Parish Council meets on the third Monday of each month. Members of the public are welcome to attend and there is a 15-minute public open session at the beginning of each meeting.

Separate meetings of the Village Hall Charity Trust and the Recreation Ground Charity Trust take place when required following Parish Council meetings.
