Just a reminder to dog owners and an appeal to all Villagers:
There are a great many pregnant sheep (ewes) around our Village currently and it would be good to remind people to keep their dogs on leads whilst around livestock. A heavily pregnant sheep was attacked early this morning (2nd Feb) by a large, unleashed dog in one of the local fields. The sheep was mauled & left in a distressed state.

Dog walkers are also reminded that it is important to remove all dog poo – it has recently been noted at the Sports Field where a lot of children now play football
